Our Family

Ana

Ana is the mother of everyone and everything breathing in and out of the house.. at all times! She’s the heart of the family and is very eco-conscious...everything has its double life. Ana is a dedicated, self-taught, well travelled, farming ninja, knowledgeable polyglot who purposely decided to live the slow paced life of rural Portugal.

Didi

She’s a Portuguese entrepreneur with a penchant for design. Born in Brazil and raised in Germany. She now lives in Portugal with her daughter and the rest of her family. She’s dedicated to making the world better by providing a world class eco-friendly space with conscious co-living.

Ana Sophia

Ana Sophia is the youngest member of the Quatro Anas legacy. The face of our fourth generation, the one that completes our name Quatro Anas. She loves to play outside and help with the farm animals. She is determined to the point of stubborness, so all eyes need to be on her, just in case. She is the fruit of our family’s multicultural background and has a strong character.

Janete

Janete is super creative, friendly, smart and on a path to change the world in a meaningful way. She handles (among many other things) the promotion and improvement of our events, experiences and services. She’s flexible and our customers love her. When things become difficult, she is our light at the end of the tunnel.

Armindo

Armindo is a shy and deep fellow who’s extremely reliable. No work is too much for him. He is a multitasker and talented in many areas in the farm. From animal care, to gardening, to construction. He is a know-it-all when it comes to our farming production.

Fernando

Fernando is our plant specialist. He is driven by new eco-friendly farming methods. We don’t use any toxic fertilizers and pesticides, so he makes sure that we adjust to new environmental challenges and potential insects that could affect our harvest.

Daylinda

Daylinda follows the beat of her own drum. She is the accommodation manager at Quatro Anas CASA HOSTEL TITA & PAULO in Aveiro, where she runs her show. She will treat you like family, so if you get on her case.. you’ll hear from her. She’s from the Philippines and was brave enough to come to Portugal with her two daughters and embrace a new culture.

Sunni

Sunni is Daylinda's partner. He has a kind heart and helps around the hostel with everything from cleaning, receiving guests to admin related stuff.

Alycah

Alycah gives language classes in her free time to digital expats and guests that have a hard time immersing themselves in the portuguese culture. She is from the Philippines and goes to school in Arrancada. She's witty and feisty once you gain her heart. Alycah loves drawing, playing ukulele and dancing when nobody is watching.

Lurdes “Boneca”

Lurdes “Boneca” works alongside Ana to take care of things around the farm, especially the gardens. Her name “Boneca” literally means “doll” which truly fits her because of her adorable and tiny frame. She has a very joyful disposition and is very sensitive. She’s my mom’s right hand person and can be sweet and feisty at the same time.

Meme

Meme is Ana’s sister who lives in Aveiro. She’s a typical Portuguese lady. She’s very sweet, dedicated and loyal. She helps manage things around the Hostel. Her warm smile will welcome you when you arrive for your stay in Casa Tita & Paulo. Meme is the go to person for anything you need around the apartment. You can also ask her about the best places in Aveiro.

Georg

Georg is a man of few words. He’s a trained welder and a general handyman. In fact he was the one who made the bunk beds in Casa Universo dormitory. We can always count on him to lend a hand.

Elisio

Elisio is the one who installs, repairs, and maintains anything related to electricity and plumbing. He’s basically like a superhero that is always there when we need him. He’s a bit shy but he has a golden heart and we know we can count on him no matter what.

Mikki Sanchez

A 26 years old Graphic Specialist & Freelance Designer from Southeast Asia currently based in Philippines. He loves everything that has to do with design & development, Graphic design, Packaging, Industrial Design.

Romnick

Romnick is a fighter, a determined working soul that always fights for what he believes! Responsible for building and updating our website and our tech infrastructure.

Filipe

Filipe Elisio’s son is young and knowledgeable, he knows all the electrical corners of the farm, so his help is very important. Apart from his electrical skills, he plays guitar in a local band.

Anabela

Anabela is the traditional Portuguese lady who helps us maintain the hostel and the Aveiro apartments spotless. Always ready to help everyone, she has a sweet heart and a brave soul.

Rosa

Rosa is a strong, serious but kind hearted woman that helps maintain everything tidy and clean. She is a countryside soul with some delicious cooking secrets and a masters in keeping our houses spotless.

Jazz

Jazz is our guard dog. He’s good with people but not with other dogs. He loves to jump in the pool, so we make sure to keep a watch out for him when we have guests. Jazz is also the perfect companion for short hikes cause he’s got hip problems.

Maia

Maia is our alpha guard dog. All women in this family are set for leadership from humans to all animals. She has an amazing character, a serious and sweet lady who can literally smile when she’s happy (you can actually see it). She’s also super chill.

Francisco Luis

Francisco is an active and annoying dog. But we love him. He’s one of the guard dogs around the property, especially at night. He was actually abandoned in front of the house. He has such an expressive face which will make you want to adopt him right away. Francisco is smart but also a bit of a thief, so watch out for your food and for the things on the floor. He might mark his territory on them.

Kiko

Kiko is a direct descendant of a wild cat, he’s independent, friendly and curious. He loves to explore the surroundings and he likes to play, but be careful, he plays hard!

Branquinha

Branquinha is a beautiful cat. She’s not very smart and gets easily caught by the dogs so we always keep her inside the Laundry Room.

Jean-Patrick

Jean-Patrick (advisor) is Ana Sophia’s father and an important part of our family and business. He helps us with important and strategic business decisions, his mastermind is always around to guide us during key stages.
